The Burroughs Century and Landlocked Music are very proud to present a special evening with Lydia Lunch and special guests, local garage rockers Thee Tsunamis.

Lydia Lunch is a punk writer, poet, musician, filmmaker, actress and raconteur whose career began during the No-Wave scene in New York City in the mid to late 1970s. She has since traveled the world performing and lecturing on feminism, sexuality, culture, and art.

As part of The Burroughs Century's celebration of the legacy of William S. Burroughs, Ms. Lunch has cut-up her own work into Burroughs' work, using the techniques made famous by Burroughs to craft a unique performance for this evening. This is a one-time only performance of this work. Bloomington's own Thee Tsunamis will get things going early.

Tickets are $12 and can be purchased in person at Landlocked Music or the Buskirk-Chumley Theater. To purchase tickets on-line, please visit https://web.ovationtix.com/trs/pe/9879830.

Ms. Lunch will also be giving a public lecture on Wednesday February 5, 2014 from 1-2:15 pm at the IU Cinema titled "Performance, Sex, and Punk Feminism: From the 1970s to the Present."
