Please join us on Thursday February 8 at 7:00 pm ET as we welcome Dr. Shemeka Thorpe for a conversation about Black women's experiences of sexual pleasure and pain.
Dr. Thorpe is an assistant professor at the University of Kentucky and also co-founder of the Minority Sex Report. Hosted by Dr. Debby Herbenick - local sex researcher, educator, and author of Yes Your Kid: What Parents Need to Know About Today's Teens and Sex - the Bloomington Sex Salon was created to foster campus-community conversations about sexuality topics.
Our format goes like this: for the first 30-40 minutes, Debby will ask Dr. Thorpe questions about her research and public scholarship. The next 20-30 minutes will be Q&A with the audience.
Free for those ages 18+.
